The Aladdin surveillance camera, from Grundig, is a high-performance security camera mounted in a vandal-resistant, LED lamp housing. Aladdin offers a unique, rugged surveillance solution for public areas. It can be installed virtually anywhere there is a risk of anti-social behavior or vandalism, such as at ATMs, hospitals, banks, hotels, stations, pharmacies, apartment post boxes in receptions, entrances and any other public areas. Aladdin is rarely recognized as a surveillance camera, so is not often targeted for vandalism, even if it is mounted within easy reach. Should the Aladdin camera be noticed, its tough casing will resist most vandal attacks.

Aladdin has a compact, almost un-detectable, high performance micro-camera with a pin-hole lens. It has wide dynamic range (WDR) functionality, producing excellent facial images of ATM users who would otherwise appear silhouetted in the daylight. Integrated motion detection adds site operation efficiency and a horizontal viewing angle of 65° and a rotatable axis base of 160° ensure installation flexibility. Aladdin is IK10 vandal-resistant certified and IP 65 weather and dust proof rated for indoor and outdoor use.

Low energy consumption keeps Aladdin operational costs to a minimum. The LED lamps have a mean time before failure of 100 000 hours, so rarely need replacing. The entire product is recyclable and has “cradle to cradle” certification.

Aladdin can help protect public areas where normal CCTV cameras would be at risk of vandalism. Its tough construction reduces the damage unwanted attacks can cause, ensuring it successfully captures video evidence of events.
