Sivers IMA Holdings AB (“Sivers IMA”), Sweden, has announced its acquisition of all available shares in its merger with Compound Semiconductor Technologies Global Ltd (“CST Global”), Scotland. Both companies operate in the rapidly expanding, next generation, high bandwidth, network markets with high subscriber connectivity. Both companies can claim in excess of 45%, year-on-year growth.

Sivers IMA is an internationally recognized, fabless, high-quality supplier and developer of products for advanced, WiGig / 5G wireless and radio frequency, network applications. Its merge with CST Global, an independent, volume-producer of III-V compound semiconductor lasers, adds direct fibre optic network products to its portfolio. These include the leading edge optical lasers used in data centre, cloud and the “fibre-to-the-subscriber” markets.

Neil Martin, CEO of CST Global, stated, “CST Global is pleased to merge with Sivers IMA group. Sivers IMA can now supply photonic, microwave and millimeter wave solutions for the rapidly expanding data centre, cloud and telecommunications markets in China, Europe and America.”
