Aimetis Corp., a global leader in intelligent video management software, announced that Aimetis Symphony™ has been deployed as the video management software platform for Brasilia International Airport, the main airport in Brazil’s capital city.

Aimetis Symphony provides the airport with a single platform to upgrade the existing CCTV system to operate over an IP network. It is a scalable system that allows new network cameras to be easily be added as needed. The system is also the largest installation in the region to use the latest edge-storage technology available in network cameras from Axis Communications.

“Video management software is an essential element of our airport physical security strategy,” said Maria Alice Duarte Sobrinha, IT Manager, Inframerica Brasilia Airport. “We chose Aimetis Symphony™ because of the system reliability and unhindered scalability.”

Aimetis partnered with Redisul, a leading Brazilian system integration company for installation and project management expertise. Redisul delivered a turnkey solution for one of the largest network video management projects in Brazil. “Aimetis Symphony is the centerpiece of our network video solution range,” said Jorge Heller, Owner, Redisul. “It allowed us to meet all of Brasilia International Airport’s video management requirements for scalability, performance and price.”
