Optimum PDM was pleased to get two of its customers into the finals of the PSI Security Industry Awards.
German manufacturer, Grundig Security AG has reached the final in the ‘CCTV Product of the Year’ category, with its innovative Aladdin vandal camera and Canadian VMS software expert, Aimetis Corporation is in the ‘Software / IT Product of the Year’ category for its Aimetis Enterprise Manager™.
Both Grundig and Aimetis have annual marketing contracts with Optimum PDM that are delivering significant results. Nick Bowden, MD of Optimum PDM commented, “We understand the technology behind our customers’ products, including IT technologies, which we communicate clearly. Our many years of experience in the security industry and our specific knowledge of editors’ requirements makes us highly effective at profiling our customers in this way.”
Optimum PDM was able to highlight significant, interesting and original features of the Grundig and AImetis’ products and communicate them to the judges in a clear and succinct manner. The award entries also explained how and why the features could be used in security applications.
Nick again, “We are proud our customers are doing well. Grundig’s Aladdin is designed for public areas of high risk, such as at ATMs, hospitals and banks. Aladdin is not recognizable as a powerful, surveillance camera. Its WDR functionality produces excellent facial images of individuals who would otherwise appear silhouetted in daylight.”
The Aimetis Enterprise Manager™ (AEM) provides centralized management, visibility and control of Aimetis Symphony™ IP video management software (VMS) and video analytics. It creates new opportunities by providing simple, multiple security system management to both IT and security managers.”
The combination of technical product and security industry knowledge is working for our customers.
